As a photographer specialising in film, 35mm film photography is at the heart of my craft. Film is not an optional add-on for me; it’s an essential part of how I see and capture the world. With over 12 years of experience shooting film, I’ve developed a style that blends its nostalgic, organic feel with the versatility of digital photography. This combination allows me to curate a gallery that beautifully conveys the narrative and vibe of your wedding day.

Film photography adds a texture, depth, and character that feels inherently timeless. It’s this quality that makes your wedding gallery feel as though it’s not just a record of the day but a collection of cinematic memories you’ll cherish forever.

Weddings are chaotic - I just hope to capture how they actually feel in picture.

Film photography and using film as a medium will always be a fundamental part of my practice in wedding photography. Documenting people's stories on film is both a bold and creative choice that allows me to produce images with unmatched nostalgia.

So, what about you?

FAQ

Your wedding day isn’t just about tradition—it’s about you. It’s about celebrating your story, connection, and vision, no matter how it unfolds. Whether planning an intimate gathering in the Scottish Highlands, a chic city ceremony, or a laid-back celebration surrounded by your closest people, your day should feel authentically yours.

I love working with couples who embrace what makes their day unique. If you value moments over perfection and care more about how the day feels than ticking every box on a checklist, then we’re probably a great fit. My goal is to capture the beauty in those authentic, unplanned moments—the ones that might not follow the script but tell your story perfectly.

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s, and your photos shouldn’t either. With a mix of film and digital photography, I aim to create images that reflect the essence of your day—timeless, emotive, and as one-of-a-kind as the two of you. If you’re looking for a photographer who will celebrate your vision and approach your day with care, creativity, and a deep appreciation for what makes your story special, I’d love to be part of it.

How would you describe your photography style?

I take a documentary approach to weddings, focusing on capturing authentic, unscripted moments that tell the story of your day. My style is both cinematic and relatable, inspired by the nostalgic beauty of film photography, with an emphasis on colour, emotion, and composition.

Do you shoot film or digital?

I shoot both! Film photography is at the heart of my craft, and I’ll always include it in every wedding I capture. I also use digital photography to ensure I can document every aspect of your day seamlessly. Together, they create a gallery that’s both timeless and vibrant.

How far in advance should we book you?

I recommend booking as soon as you’ve set your wedding date, as I only take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure I can give my couples the best experience possible. Popular dates can book up a year or more in advance!

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely! I’m based in Glasgow but love travelling across Scotland and abroad to capture wedding days. Whether you’re eloping in the Highlands or celebrating somewhere sunny overseas, I’m happy to join you wherever your love story takes you.

How many photos will we receive?

On average, you’ll receive around 400–600 edited images for a full-day wedding. Every gallery is carefully curated to include the best moments from your day, from the big emotional milestones to the smaller, quieter details.

What’s your editing process like?

My editing style is timeless and true to the film I choose to shoot on the day. I focus on enhancing colours and tones while staying true to the natural beauty of the moment - film captures life true to how it felt in the moment, I want your whole gallery to feel this way. Your gallery will reflect the mood and vibe of your day in a way that feels authentic and cohesive.

How long will it take to receive our photos?

I typically deliver galleries within 12 – 16 weeks after your wedding day. I am individually editing each frame to create the perfect documentation of your moments - film is different every day and full of variables. I don't work with one preset. I believe your wedding day is unique to you and can't (and shouldn't) be mass-produced.

Do you offer albums or prints?

I do - as special orders. I believe your wedding photos deserve to be more than just digital files - I shoot film, after all, a physical thing producing physical images. I can produce a traditional high-quality album in the form of a coffee table book from your home or a more contemporary wedding zine showcasing the best moments in print. Your online gallery has access to my print store. Here you can purchase your prints directly from your gallery. Prints help you bring your memories to life in a tangible, lasting way.

What’s required to book you?

To secure your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a deposit. Deposits are 40% at the point of booking with the remaining balance to be settled 4 weeks before your wedding date. Once your deposit has been paid, you’re officially in the diary, and we can start planning.
